- In
1995, WEN announced the world's first voice recognition notebook at
Comdex, which received coverage by USA Today and major magazines.
- In
1996, WEN first announced a 29" High Definition TV with SVGA
computer monitor capabilities.

1997, WEN first announced the following new products, which received

An extra thin Liquid Crystal Display with beautiful images and a
wide viewing angle. The units can display TV or computer images and
can be wall mounted.

The first desktop Touch Screen Tele-Video Conferencing System with
an easy user interface. Simply touching the screen, which displays a
telephone pad, allows you to call and see your contact. You can also
write directly on the screen and have it viewed in real time by your

WEN announced the televideo education system and the televideo
security system over LAN/WAN and Global Networks.
- In
1998, WEN announced the Rugged Notebook with a removable hard drive,
CDROM and Floppy. This notebook enables field security and resists
harsh environments.
- In
1998, WEN announced a low cost portable wireless CCTV system. This
system includes a battery-operated video camera that may be placed
either indoors or outdoors. The handy 4" LCD TV receiver can be
carried anywhere within 150 feet of the transmitter, enabling you to
hear and watch activities in different rooms inside or outside. The
system also offers wireless recording capabilities that can be
played back on your VCR.
- In
1999, WEN established a total solution division to provide gigabit
wideband LAN, WAN and Global Network and software development for
customer specific solutions. The total solution is based on
NT/Window 2000 server, supercomputer or engineering workstation
server, gigabit and optical/copper switch network or wireless
network. Video applications include streaming full motion video,
teleconferencing, and distance learning classroom, broadcast or
multicast. Telemedicine includes database design/build and control
access, tele diagnoses and emergency room applications. Tele
security control includes remote camera and access controls.
E-business solution includes B-B, B-C web page, EDI, as well as
customer/vendor transaction processing.

2000, WEN developed multimedia kiosks for education and government
